EMMY WIN !
The Black Iris Project, a premier ballet collaborative that champions new Black-centric works and arts education, is a dear collaborator of mine.
They were recently nominated for 8 Emmys from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter.
We brought an award home for Music Composition/Arrangement, “Shelter” from the film WILD: These Walls Can Talk.
My win comes from Sound Design and Editing for the film as well as a Musical Composition Nomination for my single “Prevent Your Choke.”
